To implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, prioritize innovation and quality, and deeply advance educational and teaching reforms in preparation for the new round of undergraduate education and teaching assessments, the CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute organized two "Open Demonstration Teaching Activities"—Open Classrooms—this week. These activities aim to promote teaching exchanges between Chinese and foreign teachers, continuously advance the internationalization of our university's education, and fully leverage the exemplary role of outstanding key teachers. Eleven teachers from various schools, including the School of Health Preservation and Rehabilitation, the School of Medical and Life Sciences, the School of Basic Medicine, the School of Nursing, and the School of Foreign Languages, participated in observing the open classrooms.

On the morning of May 7, Zara Nadine Devlin, the supervisor of the General English course, focused on "Future Forms and Time Clauses" in her lecture. Through clear explanations, intuitive illustrations, and engaging interactions, she delivered complex knowledge in a simple and understandable way, helping students enhance their English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. In her class, Zara placed special emphasis on cultivating students' intercultural communication abilities, meticulously designing the teaching process to help students better integrate into cross-cultural communication in a globalized context.

By using a problem-driven approach, he stimulated students' innovative thinking, cultivating their abilities to identify and solve problems. Additionally, he enhanced students' skills in literature review and critical thinking for English academic writing. In his class, Mr. LI perfectly presented new teaching ideas and concepts, fully demonstrating profound teaching wisdom and charisma.

The CDUTCM-Keele Joint Health and Medical Sciences Institute will continue to focus on "promoting construction through evaluation," prioritizing innovation and quality. The institute is dedicated to addressing the contemporary challenge of "What constitutes new qualitative productivity in Sino-foreign cooperative education?" and aims to write a new chapter in empowering higher education in traditional Chinese medicine with new qualitative productivity. This effort is intended to cultivate more outstanding talents with a global perspective, contributing to the construction of a community of shared health for mankind.
